How can you find out what car insurance company a person has?

insurance

My friend did the damage their car parked by a driver and the person who is not willing to give out their information assurance. There was a report from the police and unfortunately the insurance does not have been detained. You will discover the meaning of the insurance company that a person has? Perhaps the DMV or the alternative? Realization that may not have insurance but still would be discovered. The car has only harmful insurance liability.

Your friend has two options.
Sue in small claims court the person who damaged the car.

Have the claim subroggated by the friend’s insurance. I would start with this option. Usually this falls under the uninsured motorist coverage, and usually has a $300 deductible.

The friends insurance company may be able to get the info even tho there was only liability coverage. Seems they should help their customer as a courtesy to their insured. Wouldn’t hurt to ask

The only way to find out what insurance the person carries is one…. if you have a license plate #…which you dooo… u would need to go to the police station… they are the only people that can get that.. and if they don’t have insurance your out of luck..

Also, a good resource is…

Best of luck to you.
